The service involves electronically disabling the EGR valve in the ECU, which is responsible for the recirculation of exhaust gases.

We encourage the regeneration/cleaning of EGR valves as well as the entire air intake system.

The EGR is a component that often becomes contaminated, seized, or electronically damaged. By removing it, the customer can avoid an expensive expense. A damaged EGR manifests as engine jerking, diagnostic errors in the computer memory (check engine), and emergency mode.

Xenum I-FLUX100 for cleaning the EGR valve

Xenum has developed a device capable of completely cleaning the EGR valve in Diesel engines of passenger cars: I-FLUX 100. A novelty and breakthrough in EGR valve cleaning.
The device cleans the entire intake system - starting from the intake manifold, through the EGR valve, to the intake valves in the cylinder head. The result is immediate: the engine runs smoothly, power returns, and fuel consumption decreases. 
Cleaning the intake system along with the EGR valve results in increased efficiency and optimization of the operation of exhaust system components, such as the turbocharger (variable geometry) and the particulate filter (assists in cleaning). We recommend cleaning the intake system at every service inspection, especially in cars that only cover short distances. The EGR system should also be used in cases where problems with the intake system and EGR valve have already arisen.
